The Faithful of Gloria Christi Church are committed to the Gospel of Christ fully presented in the Holy Scriptures, rightly
explained in the Evangelical-Lutheran Confessions, and reverently and joyfully proclaimed in the Divine Service. We are committed
to the outreach of the gospel to men and women, all ethnic backgrounds, and regardless of age or economic status. The message
to repent and believe the gospel and receive Holy Baptism is for all.
The baptized Faithful of Gloria Christi live this chief commitment in two ways: in faith and in love. In faith, they:
RECEIVE the Gospel in Preaching, Holy Absolution and the Blessed Sacrament of the Lord's body and blood.
LIVE the Gospel in their daily vocations (callings)
REACH OUT to those who don't know Christ, especially in the Greeley community.
In love, they
WORK for the good of all in their community. Gloria Christi is a member of the Faith Community Service fund to help
individuals in the Greeley area.
Issues Etc. has come to our area! The Lutheran talk radio show, engaging current, popular and controversial issues, can now

CHARITABLE ASSISTANCE:
For visitors from the Greeley community in need of material help, Gloria Christi works with the "Faith Community
Service Fund" as the agency to handle these needs. While the fund does need to operate within specific rules, we believe
this is the best way available to us to handle these needs. Please call "211" to inquire.
Catechesis (ka-tuh-key-sis) is "Instruction in the Christian Faith." Catechesis begins when one inquires about
membership in the Evangelical-Lutheran Church; yet it continues in various forms throughout the life of a Christian. Gloria
Christi offers catechesis for youth and adults periodically.

The Divine Service & the Church Year
In order to receive the Sacrament of our Lord's Supper, instruction in the Christian Faith according to the Scriptures
and Luther's Small Catechism is necessary. There is no fee or obligation for Instruction.
Sunday School
Children (potty-trained and up) are invited to attend Gloria Christi's Sunday School at 9:15 a.m. on Sundays. During this
time there is also Bible Study for adults and high school age youth.
Preschool/Daycare
In addition to our Sunday School, during the week Gloria Christi operates a preschool/daycare.
Campus Ministry
Gloria Christi College Lutherans is our campus ministry organization which serves University of Northern Colorado and
Aims Community College. (See the campus ministry button.)
Holy Absolution
Private Absolution (as taught in Luther's Small Catechism) is available by appointment. All confessions of sins are kept
in strictest confidence (seal of confession). The rite is conducted according to the order found in our hymnal, Lutheran
Service Book.
